Celebrate Emmanuel

In April, 2008, a Steering Committee was formed to begin the planning of the celebration of the 150th anniversary of Emmanuel's founding in 2010. Co-chaired by Susie Hodgson and John Savage, the committee has been meeting monthly and has already come up with some wonderful ideas for our year-long celebration.

Other members of the committee and areas of focus are:

Leith Mullaly - worship
Anne Dagner - youth and children
Doris deSha Savage and Gladys Clarke - senior members
Doreen Dickie and Jim Roberts - music
Dick Hodgson and Kathleen Mehridge - fellowship
Kathleen Haden - 150 good deeds
Ted Caplow and Bonnie and Charlie Mitchell - treasurer

It is our goal to involve every member of our Emmanuel family in the planning and implementation of this joyous year of celebration.

At the Annual Meeting of the Parish, our logo and theme - Celebrate Emmanuel - was announced and all those in attendance received a bookmark with the logo.
